100 Years of Climate Change<\/h2>\n

\"midnight-flowers\"We piled into the mini-bus after the opening event at www.futuresonic.com in Manchester.\u00a0 About 15 of us and the artists behind the project.\u00a0 The idea is to experience the same temperature change caused by 100 years of climate change (about 2 degrees) by walking through a Manchester microclimate.<\/p>\n

We arrive in a street in Trafford and are given mp3 players which will guide us through the experience.\u00a0 We walk and the somewhat hypnotic voice guides us.\u00a0 Also does good jokes!\u00a0 It’s light-hearted but striking.\u00a0 You can hear a bit of a recording I made using Audioboo here<\/a> as we went on the event.\u00a0 And my thoughts this morning here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
